Let’s make cervical cancer…

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, so it makes sense to talk about human papillomavirus (HPV) too. After all, HPV is the primary cause of cervical cancer. Regular screening is a life saver. And HPV protection is cervical cancer prevention.

Don’t get too busy to take care of yourself!

So why is it that HPV vaccination is still so controversial? I asked my doctor whether she had her children vaccinated. She did! And her response was completely aligned what this doctor has to say about having her children vaccinated.

The good news is that both HPV and cervical cancer are preventable and treatable.

If you’ve been diagnosed, here’s some helpful information from the American Cancer Society.
